Job Purpose
Manage and lead the assigned airside projects at KFIA, ensuring high quality through effective management and execution of assignments with respect to time, project schedules and within budget.
Position Accountability Description
Project Management
1. Engage with stakeholders during business case development to obtain budget approval.
2. Support in the planning phase during tendering process including (TPS, Scope of Work, technical Evaluation).
3. Ensure the delivery and monitoring progress of project activities daily assuring compliance with project timeline.
4. Ensure efficient and effective project scheduling, resource allocation, quality control, and cost management.
5. Coordinate the work of the project team and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely completion of tasks.
6. Regularly monitor project progress, conduct meetings rhythmically, identify and mitigate risks, and adjust as needed,
7. Ensure compliance with all legal, security and safety requirements related to project activities at airport
8. Coordinate with Engineering to review all project's technical submittals, inspections and issue work permits.
9. Review and process invoices received from contractors of project deliverables as per the agreed payment terms.
Change Management
10.Manage and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule, costs, requirements or external factors, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to manage the changes effectively.
11.Apply Dammam Airport policy and procedure for any variation orders.
Documentation and Reporting
12.Provide regular updates and generate reports of project status and progress.
13.Communicating project status updates to stakeholders and upper management through reports and presentations
14.Ensure project documentation, including keeping detailed project notes and records archived in Dammam Airport database
15.Ensure project documentation including safety and quality reports.
Project Closeout
16.Ensure financial close-out by providing all supporting documents including but not limited to warranties and performance ponds
17.Accountable for the contractual obligation from Dammam Airport end and Contractor's end to ensure the closure of the contracts.
18.Taking accountability by ensuring the submission of all project closure documentation including As-Built, Manuals, Engineering Studies, and project specific certifications.
19.Coordinate with stakeholders for the final testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
20.Transfer "Knowledge" and provide lessons learned and best practices to improve future project delivery.
21.Ensure project training required for project proponent if required.
Leadership
22.Lead a cross-functional project team (Contractor, Consultant and Stakeholders .. etc), motivate team members, resolve conflicts and foster collaboration.
23.Resolving disputes among stakeholders (internal and external)
24.Negotiation and high effective influence to resolve commercial disputes by obtaining all parties satisfied without impact project scope and timeline.
Stakeholder Management:
25.Create stakeholder maps or matrices to understand relationships and the level of influence and interest of each stakeholder.
26.Negotiate and influence stakeholders positively to gain their support and commitment to the project.
27.develop and use communication plans tailored to different stakeholders, ensuring timely and relevant information dissemination.
28.Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts
29.Ensure External and Internal stakeholder requirements are met by engaging them in project stages within project process.
Risk Management:
30.Identify, analyze, and develop mitigation strategies for project risks to minimize potential impact.
31.Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful risk mitigation and project continuity.
Team Collaboration and Continuous Learning
32.Work collaboratively with team members by sharing knowledge, providing support, and actively participating in team activities, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
33.Pursue continuous learning by seeking feedback, attending training sessions, and staying updated on industry trends, enhancing personal skills and professional growth.
