General Manager of Non-Aeronautical Business Development

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for developing the airport's service proposition, commercial interests and airline business development. The role-holder shall grow the airport's aeronautical and commercial revenues by growing the route network and passenger numbers, developing sustainable sources of commercial revenue from DACO's assets and managing the property portfolio to its maximum potential. The role-holder is expected to develop effective business processes and future commercial strategies, foster excellence in the customer experience, develop team members to achieve their full potential, demonstrate positive behaviour and showcase DACO's values. The role-holder will focus on leading commercial negotiations (including rent reviews), transforming the customer experience and identifying new business opportunities whilst maintaining and developing DACO’s current commercial model.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead in the implementation of the DACO Commercial Strategy: i) Capture potential in future passenger demand; ii) Seize retail opportunity; iii) Realize parking potential; iv) Capture potential in cargo and logistics; v) Develop real estate business.
• Deliver Commercial revenue streams (aeronautical, property, retail, commercial concessions, parking & transportation, products).
• Bring a strong commercial perspective to decisions on the DACO Senior Management Team.
• Identify and deal with revenue opportunities & obstacles to growing commercial revenue.
• Responsible for developing Non-Aeronautical Business Development units as a high-performance team.
• Develop strategies to maximize revenue growth and increase customer satisfaction.
• Implement DACO’s enablement priorities to facilitate commercial strategy: passenger experience, infrastructure, operating model, digital transformation.

· Complies with All DACO Policies & Procedures including Safety and reporting hazards.

• Performs other related duties as assigned and any additional ad-hoc will be assigned as per work requirement.
