Job Purpose
Support the career development and succession planning initiatives by assisting in the implementation of tailored programs, tracking employee progress, and providing career counseling, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering professional growth within Dammam Airport.
Position Accountability Description
Career Development and Succession Planning
- Assist in the development and execution of career path and development programs that align with employee aspirations and organizational goals across various training initiatives.
- Support the implementation of succession planning programs by assisting in talent assessments, maintaining a talent pipeline, and preparing high-potential employees for leadership roles.
- Track and document employee career progress, ensuring alignment with career goals and training curricula to support professional growth.
- Provide recommendations for career development opportunities and training based on employee assessments and career paths.
- Assist in updating and refining the career path and development programs to ensure they provide support, mentorship, and training resources for career advancement.
- Conduct talent assessments and reviews to evaluate employee potential and readiness for advancement, providing insights to the management team.
- Implement tailored career development plans, ensuring they align with individual career aspirations and organizational objectives.
- Ensure that all career development and succession planning initiatives are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Program Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
- Monitor the effectiveness of career development and succession planning programs using KPIs and feedback, and report findings to senior management.
- Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in career development and incorporate innovative approaches to enhance programs.
- Assist in the preparation of regular reports on the progress and outcomes of career development initiatives for review by senior management.
Resource Management and Support
- Assist in managing resources for career development and succession planning programs, ensuring they are used effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinate with external training providers and educational institutions to support the delivery of high-quality development programs.
Career Counselling and Mentorship
- Provide career counselling and coaching to employees, helping them navigate career opportunities and make informed decisions.
- Support the mentorship program by connecting employees with experienced mentors and facilitating professional growth and career advancement.
Team Collaboration and Learning
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and provide support, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Engage in continuous learning by seeking feedback, attending training sessions, and staying updated on industry trends.
- Work with function heads and managerial teams to identify high-potential employees and assist in implementing tailored career development plans.
