Job Purpose
Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for designing, architecting, building, testing and implementing cybersecurity systems within DACO environment. A Cybersecurity Architect is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT & OT systems/cybersecurity controls and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice cybersecurity products.
Position Accountability Description
Expert Consultancy and Strategic Alignment
1. Develop secure cloud computing strategies to protect data and applications stored or processed in cloud environments, ensuring effective data governance, encryption, and access controls.
2. Provide expert consultancy and advice on cybersecurity Systems, technologies and projects.
3. Align standards, frameworks and cybersecurity with overall business and technology strategy.Cybersecurity System Design and Implementation
4. Design, build and consult enterprise-class cybersecurity systems for a production environment.
5. Oversee the development and implementation and configuration of cybersecurity systems and/or the cybersecurity components of IT & OT systems and networks.
6. Conduct cybersecurity research and development to identify emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technological advancements.
7. Assess the cybersecurity of computer applications, software, code or programs and provides actionable results against cybersecurity threat.
8. Contribute to IT & OT and operations teams, integrating cybersecurity measures into airport infrastructure, applications, and processes.
Evaluation and Risk Management
9. Evaluate and review network, system, business solutions and cybersecurity technology from cybersecurity point of view.
10. Identify cybersecurity design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
11. Validate, review and support Standard and Emergency changes in DACO environment to ensure compliance with established cybersecurity protocols and standards.
Compliance and Policy Adherence
12. Cybersecurity Assessment and configuration review management to ensure alignment with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
13. Comply with All DACO Policies & Procedures including Safety and reporting hazards.
Architectural Review and Continuity Planning
14. Conduct cybersecurity controls review and validation through regular assessments and audits to verify effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions to protect critical data and resources.
15. Provide cybersecurity architecture reviews of new IT/ OT projects, systems, and applications to assess design, compliance with standards, and alignment with cybersecurity best practices.
16. Consult disaster recovery and business continuity plans to address cybersecurity incidents and IT/ OT system failures. Continuous Improvement
17. Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and technologies, proactively adapting cybersecurity measures to address evolving risks and challenges.
18. Recommend cybersecurity enhancements by evaluating existing controls and proposing improvements to strengthen cyber defences.Team Collaboration and Learning
19. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, provide support, and actively participate in activities to foster a positive and productive work environment.
20. Pursue continuous learning by seeking feedback, attending training sessions, and staying updated on industry trends to enhance personal skills and knowledge.

Education
Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
