Job Description

As Marketing Research your role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the airport commercial route development activities. Below are the key Job Description responsibilities:

Airlines Engagement


Develop marketing targeted campaigns in collaboration with route development team to increase airlines engagements. 


Market Research


Manage the market research project to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the airport. Use data analytics reports to plan and identify opportunities in marketing route development initiatives. Utilize a variety of research techniques in addition to surveys such as data mining to gather relevant insights.


Data Visualization and Reporting


Create visually compelling reports and presentations to communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.


Commercial Event Planning & management


Execute route development commercial marketing events promoting the airport and destination to attract airlines.  Coordinate with internal stakeholders to illustrate the airport marketing messages and ensure successful execution.


Digital Marketing


Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels (owned and paid), including social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO). Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize performance.


Partnership Development


Establish partnerships with tourism boards and travel agencies to cross-promote services and attract airlines to the airport. Collaborate with stakeholders to create joint marketing initiatives and promotional packages.


Budget Management


Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to initiatives that generate the highest return on investment. Monitor expenses, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize marketing ROI.


Content Development


Oversee the creation of route development marketing content. Ensure content is in line with the route development strategy and resonates with the targeted customers. Create visually compelling presentations to communicate research findings, marketing insights and marketing reports.  


Performance Monitoring and Reporting


Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of marketing activities, campaigns and initiatives. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate results, insights, and recommendations.


Cross-functional Collaboration


Collaborate with other departments, specifically Corporate Affairs and Media department to ensure best practices and engagement streamline with the company.  Provide support and guidance to ensure alignment between both departments.  


Website Development and Optimization


Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of the airport commercial website to enhance user experience, drive traffic, and increase conversions. Collaborate with web designers, developers, and content creators to ensure the website reflects the airport marketing messages and strategy.
