Planning and Control Terminal Senior Analyst (SMP)

Job Purpose

Coordinate and manage terminal project planning and control activities, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, on time and within budget by conducting site visit, analytics and reporting of ~700 Msar Capex portfolio through effective utilization of advanced tools and engagement with significant number of contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders. Support the development and implementation of strategic plans, manage project documentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Position Accountability Description

Operational Excellence

1.      Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for terminal projects, ensuring alignment with Dammam Airport strategic objectives and timely completion of project milestones.

2.      Plan and oversee the allocation of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure optimal use of resources across terminal projects.

3.      Identify and mitigate risks associated with terminal projects, developing contingency plans to address.

4.      Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring that terminal projects are delivered within approved financial limits.

5.      Estimate project costs and implement cost-control measures to prevent budget overruns and ensure financial efficiency.

6.      Assist in preparing financial reports for terminal projects, providing insights into budget performance, cost variances, and financial forecasts.

7.      Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, contracts, reports, and records, ensuring they are readily accessible and compliant with Dammam Airport standards.

8.      Monitor project progress through regular site visits, meetings, and reporting, ensuring that all activities are progressing as planned and addressing any deviations promptly.

9.      Ensure all terminal projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Dammam Airport internal policies, conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards.

10. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure that all aspects of terminal projects are executed according to contract terms and project specifications.

Stakeholder Management

11. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including airport authorities, airlines, and

government agencies to align terminal project goals and facilitate smooth project execution.

12. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to ensure informed decision-making.

13. Manage changes in project scope, timelines, or resources, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and that impacts on project outcomes are minimized.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

14. Identify opportunities to streamline project planning and control processes, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

15. Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying lessons learned from past projects to enhance future project performance.

16. Explore and integrate new technologies and tools into terminal project planning and control activities, enhancing project management capabilities and outcomes.
